About Our CSA
Upbeet Produce is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) vegetable farm. CSA is where you partner with our farm by purchasing a share in the farm and thus becoming a member. You then receive a weekly box of vegetables, at a bulk discount, for 22 weeks from June 7 – Nov 1 for the 2023 season. We grow over 40 different vegetables, with multiple varieties of some vegetables – including some heirlooms. All of our produce is certified organic and non-GMO. When it comes to eating, we believe it's important what you are eating and how you feel after a meal. Our farm provides you local, fresh, pristine, healthy produce that leaves you feeling upbeet! Produce in each week's share varies depending on what is in season. We offer a variety of share options to choose from:
-Every Other Week (EOW) Single Share - feeds 1-2 people. One share delivered every other week for 22 weeks.
-Weekly Single Share - feeds 2-3 people. One share delivered weekly for 22 weeks.
-Every Other Week (EOW) Double Share - feeds 2-3 people. Two shares delivered every other week for 22 weeks.
-Weekly Double Share - feeds 4-6 people. Two shares delivered weekly for 22 weeks.
-NEW: Monthly CSA share! If you're new to CSA or travel a lot, this would be a great option! With this option you will receive one CSA share per month, from June through Oct. All CSA events except for the "You Pick" are included in the monthly membership option. Limited spots are available.
Shares will be available for pick-up Wednesdays, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Bodacious Brew pick-up is 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM).

Customize Your Share option
Choose the veggies you would like in each of your CSA shares! On the Friday prior to picking up your CSA share you will receive an email with a list of available veggies. You will then simply select the veggies you would like, submit the form, and that is what will be in that upcoming share!

Member Involvement
We want our members to feel like they are truly a part of the farm! Each week’s share contains a newsletter with recipes, veggie identification, and farm updates. Members have the option to receive a list of what items will be in their shares a few days prior to picking it up. Members, along with their friends and family, are welcome to come out to the farm anytime by appointment. We will be having three farm events in 2023 for our members: Get to Know You Gathering, You Pick Day (come pick free tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs!), and Fall Harvest Dinner (food provided by us!). About 1/3 of the way into the season, I (Jesse) will be spending time at the Basic’s Cooperative CSA pick-up site to be available to chat with members. I will be doing this to help ensure the 2023 season is off to a good start by getting feedback. However, throughout the entire season, members highly are encouraged to give feedback!
Work Share
All of our work shares for 2023 have been filled up. Work share is where you work on the farm to pay off your CSA share. If you would like to pay off your 2024 CSA share by working on the farm, email upbeetproduce@gmail.com to be put on the waiting list!

You are paying the full price of a share up front, but when you break it down you are receiving a bulk discount on local, fresh, organic produce. With the weekly single share, you are paying $22.68/box (Share price of $499 divided by 22 weeks of produce) for enough produce to feed 2-3 people for 22 weeks! Also, don’t forget about the pick-up locations, newsletters, and farm events included in that price!
Home Delivery
We are now offering home delivery of CSA shares for those in the delivery zone! There’s no need to be home when delivered, as your CSA share will be in a cooler with ice! Click here to see if you are in the qualified delivery zone. Limited spots available.

About Our Farm
The farm is surrounded by rolling hills of prairies and red rustic outbuildings. It's conveniently located just 20 minutes northwest of Janesville and halfway between Evansville and Edgerton. We follow practices that promote sustainability. This is accomplished through building soil and limiting erosion by using cover crops and compost in the fields, encouraging living organisms in the soil through limiting tilling, and protecting the soil by using mulch wherever possible.
