About Our CSA
Upbeet Produce is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) vegetable farm. CSA is where you partner with our farm by purchasing a share in the farm and thus becoming a member. You then receive vegetables, at a bulk discount, from June 3 – Oct 28 for the 2026 season. A share of veggies is packed in a 5/9 bushel box, containing an average of eight different vegetables, varying depending on what is in season. We offer a variety of share options:
-Every Other Week (EOW) Single Share. Feeds 1-2 people. One share delivered every other week for 22-weeks.
-Weekly Single Share. Feeds 2-3 people. One share delivered weekly for 22-weeks.
-Every Other Week (EOW) Double Share. Feeds 2-3 people. Two shares delivered every other week for 22-weeks.
-Weekly Double Share. Feeds 4-6 people. Two shares delivered weekly for 22 weeks.
-Monthly Share. Ideal for those who travel or for those who would like to try out the CSA experience. One share delivered monthly, June – Oct. “You Pick Day” event not included with this membership option.

Customize Your Share Option
If you would like to have more control over what you receive in your share, and have better ease of incorporating more of the veggies that you enjoy into your diet, then the customize your share option would be a great choice. On the Friday prior to picking up your CSA share, you will receive an email with a list of all the veggies currently available. You will then simply select the veggies you would like, submit the form, and that is what you will receive in your upcoming share. The customize option does need to be purchased along with your share, but we have found that members find it to be well worth the price. To learn more about the customize option, click here.
Standard Share Option
The standard share option is what you automatically receive when purchasing a CSA share without making an additional purchase of the customize option. If you like to be surprised with what you are receiving, enjoy a wide range of vegetables, and are looking to save some money, then the standard share would be a good option for you. We (the farmer) choose what goes in each of your shares. We vary each share as much as possible, so CSA members can experience a wide variety of vegetables in their diet.

Member Involvement
We want our members to feel like they are truly a part of the farm!
Each week’s share contains a newsletter with recipes, veggie identification, and farm updates. Members with the standard CSA share have the option to receive a list of what items will be in their shares several days prior to picking it up. To learn more about the newsletters and to see an example of one, click here.
We will be hosting six farm events in 2026 for our members:
-
Visit Your Farmers (hosted on farm in late June)
-
Cooking Class (hosted in Basic's Cooperative community room in late July)
-
You Pick Day (come pick as many free tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs as you would like in late August; not included with monthly share)
-
Fall Harvest Dinner (food provided by us in late September!)
-
Farm Tour (available an hour before the Fall Harvest Dinner)
-
Fall Gleaning Party (come pick free, extra produce, pending leftover produce in early November)
We highly welcome and encourage feedback from CSA members throughout and after the season. It is very important for us to know how the CSA experience is going for our members.
